We may have to reboot all OpenVZ host nodes shortly. We are hoping for a patch from KernelCare to become available, but we cannot risk it if they take too long. All host nodes are being updated now. We will update this News post with more information if reboots are involved.

Update:

A critical security vulnerability has been published for OpenVZ. As such, we have updated all host nodes to the latest kernel and are in the process of rebooting them. You can read more about the vulnerability here: http://kb.parallels.com/en/122142 . Due to the nature of this vulnerability, we were not able to provide notice before the reboots. Although we try to avoid reboots as much as possible, this issue lies with OpenVZ itself and is unfortunately outside of our control.

You will be able to reboot your VPS(s) from the SolusVM CP if you don't want to wait for the automated process to finish.

Update 2:

Make sure you follow or bookmark http://twitter.com/nodestatus for all updates like this. We are having to run fsck on some nodes.

Update 3:

All nodes have been rebooted and individual VPS reboots are finishing up. Please open a ticket if you need specific assistance.
