Regarding the Seattle network drop that some of you experienced within the last hour, one of our carriers (Tinet) had a power outage in their Seattle POP. The following is from CNServers, who also provides bandwidth to us (for filtering):

"At around 13:54PM PST, we noticed lost of connection to one of our IP carriers - Tinet, this cause all traffic routing through Tinet reconverge to another available carrier, which resulted some disconnections.

We immediately got in touch with Tinet(GTT), we were told that they were having a major issue out of Seattle, possibily a power usage in the Equinix building where they house their network equipments.

At 14:36PM, we noticed our Tinet circuit is back online. Which caused another BGP reconverge, resulting disconnects, however it looks like whatever the problem with Tinet was, it's resolved now."
